Video Example – Moving on the ground

In this case, the Crusaders Tom Marshall continued to propel himself along the ground by his knees after being tackled. Referee Craig Joubert immediately called a penalty – “You’re propelling yourself with your knees after the tackle. Release it (the ball).”

If the maul has been formed and remains the same maul in a forward direction, and the defenders shear off, than the maul is fully entitled to continue the same maul in a forward direction even if it does appears to be a truck-and-trailer situation. Very high skill level from the forward pack.
You Make The Call: Mark

Please check your math! As the season reaches the pointy end, the scoring categories can be used to break ties between teams.
