USA Rugby Review: The Scrum

The video reflects Scrum issues. There are many scenarios, and clarification regarding the engagement, feeding and scrummaging. This is by no means a judgment on the referees, but purely a tool to assist referees in consistency at the scrum, in USA Rugby. This standard should be applied in the RSL 2010.

Referee Advice

If a coach is on your back, but not enough to warrant a confrontation, then stay away from him or her. This is especially true at half time. Standing near an unhappy coach or fan, just to “show him”, will only lead to further tension.
