Fundraiser for Injured Arizona Player

Posted by Bill Caulfield on October 10th, 2013

Sad to report that Travis Richardson of Thunderbird Rugby Club, suffered a severe head injury while playing in a rugby tournament in Flagstaff last weekend. After undergoing emergency neurosurgery, he currently remains in medically-induced paralysis in the intensive care unit of a hospital in the Flagstaff area as doctors wait for swelling in his brain to reside.

The Thunderbird Rugby Club has been organizing a fundraising campaign to support Travis and his family.  The Club has set up a paypal account* to collect donations to support Travis and his family financially. All donations will go directly to the family to cover travel expenses to and from Flagstaff, hotel costs, medical bills/insurance premiums, and tuition costs at Thunderbird.
