Video Example – Tip Tackle

Here is an example of a tackle from the third 2010 Tri-Nations match between Australia and South Africa. James O’Conner tackles Victor Matfield in the open field. The tackle comes very close to being a dangerous tackle. O’Conner is lucky Matfield is a much bigger opponent and wasn’t lifted over horizontal. The tackle was not ruled as dangerous and no yellow card was issued.
